The Melita Bisons will play in the Tiger Hills Hockey League this season. The Bisons, who previously played in the South West Hockey League, have not iced a senior team for five years. Melita will join the Pilot Mound Pilots, Crystal City 49'ers, Cartwright Clippers, Killarney Shamrocks, Glenboro Nordics, Carberry Plainsmen, Wawanesa Jets, Holland Rockets, Gladstone Lakers, Souris Elks, Deloraine Royals and defending champion Swan Lake Cougars. The status of the Boissevain Border Kings is still uncertain for the upcoming season. The Border Kings took a one-year leave of abscence last season.
