Stolen Vehicle Recovered

On March 19th at 06:39 am Police located the 2009 BMW SUV that was reported stolen the day before. It was abandoned in the 1200 block of 9th street. Arrest Warrants

On March 19th at 10:23 am a 24-year-old female turned herself in to Brandon Police Service as she was aware she had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. She was arrested and held for court on March 20th, 2024.

On March 19th at 11:38 am police conducted a pedestrian a check in the 00 block of 9th street. A 43-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with his probation. He was released for court on May 15th, 2024.

On March 19th at 2:16 pm Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 1000 block of Vanhorne Avenue. A 34-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for theft under $5000. He was released for court on May 16th, 2024.

On March 19th at 3:50 pm Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 1100 of 4th street. A 35-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for assault. He was released for court on May 30th, 2024.

On March 19th at 5:05 pm Police arrested a 41-year-old female as she entered a business in the 1000 block of Richmond Avenue. Officers were aware of an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with her probation. She was released for court on April 18th, 2024.

 

Possession of Weapon for a dangerous purpose

On March 19th at 12:37 pm Police received a call from a concerned citizen reporting he had witnessed a male pull a knife on a female in a parking lot in the 300 block of 4th street. Police located the 29-year-old female victim who was not injured. She advised she had an argument with a male known to her and he brandished the weapon. Officers arrested a 27-year-old male at his residence. He was released for court on May 16th, 2024.

 

Breach of Peace

On March 19th at 11:23 pm police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of 8th street. An intoxicated 22-year-old female, who was found to be the cause of the issues was arrested. She will be released in the morning.
