Ninga Community Centre board is hosting another one of their favorite fundraisers this Friday evening at the Ninga arena!

Organizing committee member, Kevin Dalby, says they've incredible support from residents in and around Ninga, as well as businesses from surrounding communities.

"We've gotten auction prizes from businesses in the Boissevain and Killarney areas, and then we'll be auctioning them off with Warren Wright at 7:00," shares Dalby. "We've got some really good prizes coming up, some with values exceeding $1000 dollars. Some are geared towards agriculture, some with lesser amounts, and this includes meat boxes and tools and so much more.  Yes, it will be really good!"

Funds raised will go towards the building's maintenance and repair list of things to do, including the Zamboni room that needs some upgrades to the roof.

as well as the Ninga kids' hockey program.

"We've had a really good turn-out the last couple of years with the Ninga Hockey League," he says. "I think we had anywhere from 75-90 kids participate in it every year over I believe 6 different teams, and these from all the different communities that surround Ninga."

Typically, they've raised around $15,000 through the evening auction.  But Dalby is hoping the event will raise between $25,000-$30,000.

The canteen supper will run from 5-7pm.  The live auction starts at 7 pm.
