Assault

On April 11th a 13-year-old female was arrested for two counts of assault and one count of breaching her release order. On April 2nd at 2:00 pm Police received a call from a parent reporting her 13-year-old daughter had been punched in the face by a fellow classmate while at school.  On April 4th the accused contacted a 13-year-old male she was on an order not to contact. On April 8th the accused then tried to assault the same victim, but a teacher intervened, and the teacher was pushed into a wall. The 13-year-old female is being held for court on April 12th, 2024.

Arrest Warrant

On April 11th at 1:45 pm Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 900 block of Pacific Avenue. A 37-year-old female was arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court She was held for court on April 12th, 2024.

Possession of Weapon

On April 11th at 2:01 pm police received a report of a male passed out in the lobby of a business in the 1900 block of Richmond Avenue. An intoxicated 34-year-old male was arrested, and he was also found to have a Co2 handgun on his possession. He was charged for possession of a weapon. He was later released for court on June 20th, 2024.

Intoxicated Person

On April 12th at 00:12 am Police received a call from a 25-year-old female reporting that people were following her.  Police located the female wandering in the 500 block of Victoria Avenue. The female was intoxicated and unable to care for herself. She was arrested and will be released in the morning.

Search Warrant

On April 11th at 3:53 pm Members from the Crime Suppression Unit and Organized Crime Unit with Brandon Police Service executed a search warrant at a residence on Madison Crescent.  Three occupants of the house were arrested. Police found 250 grams of cocaine, $1200 cash, a stolen .22 caliber handgun and numerous weapons including a pellet gun, taser, batons and bear spray.  A 21-year-old female and a 24-year-old male were later released for court on June 13th. 2024.  A 20-year-old male was held for court on April 12th ,2024 as he is facing numerous weapons and drug related charges.
