Virden Mayor Bruce Dunning says he enjoyed his 8 years on council.

 

Dunning decided not to seek re-election. He says it was a matter of priorities.

 


Dunning is proud of what council accomplished over the past two terms. Highlights were improving the town's water system and work on a new recreation facility.

 

Long time councilor Jeff Mcconnell will take over as Mayor following Wednesday's civic elections.
