A group of teens from Boissevain will be going to New Orleans for a missions trip early next year.

The Boissevain Mennonite Brethern Youth Group will be gutting and rebuilding houses that were damaged by Hurricane Katrina, doing service projects, mercy ministry and working with inner city children.

Youth pastor Trevor Fleming explains the decision to go to New Orleans...

Fleming adds the group will be holding a fundraiser tonight at 7:30 at the fellowship hall at the church.

He says they will be having a regular auction, silent auction and servant auction where the kids will be auctioned off to do general labour.

Fleming expects the money raised from the event to cover most of the costs of the trip.
