Hunger is an important issue right around the world including here at home.

With that in mind, Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is once again running its Drive Away Hunger Program.

FCC’s Manager of Community Investment Carla Warnyca says the program has been well received and fits a need in our communities.

"Over the course of the last twelve years, we've raised 27 million meals thanks to our partners and generous supporters across the communities in Canada that really want to give back to those in their communities."

FCC field offices have been collecting food and cash donations since mid-May, which stays with food banks in the local community.

The Drive Away Hunger Program wraps up this week.
