Combines started rolling again in a few areas over the past few days as farmers finally got a chance to continue the harvest.

Cool, wet weather set back the harvest last month as fields were just too wet to get into.

G3 Canada’s Weather and Crop Specialist is Bruce Burnett says about 20% of the crops are still out across the prairies.

"Certainly to see a weather forecast in November that's like this, it would probably have been better to have had this dry, warm forecast sometime in September, but we'll take what we can get," said Burnett.

Environment Canada is calling for a nice stretch of good weather.
