Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) is running the ad throughout the fall as a promotion for Canadian cheese, using Canadian towns named after famous European locations. Paris, ON was another town featured in a commercial as part of the campaign.

Sandra Da Silva, assistant director of external communications for DFC, says all the footage in both commercials was shot on location in the two Canadian towns.

"There are so many wonderful little nooks and crannies in Canada that people just haven't had the opportunity yet to explore," she says. "And it's kind of the same with Canadian cheese, right? Like there are so many great Canadian cheeses out there that consumers just haven't had the opportunity to really explore, so we really wanted to showcase that."

Da Silva says the campaign is aimed at sharing dairy producers' passion with consumers. She encourages Canadians to try new varieties of cheese, and says beginner cheese consumers should try starting with softer, milder types, like Brie.
