The Killarney-Turtle Mountain Arts Council has their art exhibitions all lined up for 2024, with every month featuring a new exhibit for the entire year!

As well, of course is their workshops that take place throughout each month, with new art skills to learn.  They've also added yoga classes to the mix so one could take in a gallery visit, a yoga class and a workshop all in one day!

The Performing Arts Series will also continue, as well as outdoor concerts and music on the porch!

Please take note of the upcoming concert poster below!

Art Administrator, Giselle Beaupre, says they are looking at a couple of grants, by way of a summer student for the summer months, and funding for a program for students during spring break at the end of March.

A highlight of the year is being able to tap into some funding that is being facilitated by the Manitoba Arts Council (MAC)!

"So, there are some dollars there that we're going to take a run at to help us with our operating costs," explains Beaupre. "Those kinds of dollars have never been available to small councils like ours so we're very excited about that. As MAC!  They are really pursuing and helping and assisting rural people like us from small councils to apply for those dollars, and to help us keep the doors open!"

Please listen to Giselle Beaupre below as she shares more of what's in store for 2024 at the Heritage Home for the Arts in Killarney!
