A dozen actors were ready to hit the stage of the Boissevain Community Theatre in March of 2020 when the pandemic hit and the show was called off and now they’re set to return.

ADLIB is the drama troupe featuring a cast of 13 with many other volunteers working behind the scenes of the 2-act comedy.

Brandt Bessant is director, and he says the cast members can’t wait to get before a live audience. “We’re amateur drama loose in Boissevain and we’re doing Clue On Stage.”

“We’ve done the rehearsal part twice because we were ready to go back in 2020 before we got shut down and everyone knows what happened then. We brought the play back and we’re ready for March of 2023.”

Bessant says people can expect an excellent play because of the hard work put in by the volunteers. “Tickets are available at Turtle Mountain Physio, the library, Pringles’ Sports Excellence or you can book through our website.”

All of the cast members from 2020 are back for this year’s production.

“This is a comedy based loosely on the board game and it’s also a screenplay based on the movie. The play goes March 15-18 with doors opening at 7:00 pm and the show starting at 7:30,” said Brandt Bessant.
