The University of Manitoba's Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences is welcoming a new Director of the School of Agriculture.

Michele Rogalsky is taking over leadership of the School, which coordinates the two-year Agriculture Diploma program and offers a variety of certificate, non-credit and professional development programs.

Rogalsky was previously the general services manager for the University's Physical Plant. She has also served in the Faculty of Education and as the executive director of the Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council.

Rogalsky graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture in 1984 and worked as a farm management instructor in the School for eight years. She and her husband David operated a grain farm near Clandeboye.
