A snowfall warning has been issued for the northern portion of the Westman Region including Roblin, Russell and Dauphin.  This warning also includes The Duck Mountains, the Porcupine Provincial Forest, Riding Mountain National Park, and Swan River.

Snow, heavy at times, is expected to continue through to Thursday morning.

The Alberta clipper tracked into Manitoba Tuesday night. Heavy snowfall has developed over the region and will persist through Wednesday night and is expected to taper off Thursday morning.

Most of the regions will see amounts ranging between 10 to 15 cm, however, the highest snowfall amounts will be over the higher terrain and along the Manitoba escarpment, where total snowfall accumulations may exceed 15 cm and even reach the 20 cm mark.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
