Earlier this morning, Chris and Michelle talked about "in-season" fruit and, naturally, apples came up. And with apples comes that classic dish, apple crisp! Michelle shared a simple, yet delicious recipe that you can try at home:

Stir together 1/2 cup flour, 1 cup rolled oats, 2/3 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine till it's moist and crumbly.

Peel and slice 5-6 apples and put them in an 8x8 baking dish. Stir in 1/4 cup water and a pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon.

Pour the crumbs over the top, Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes... and you're done.
