Rossburn RCMP have arrested three youths following an armed robbery on the weekend.

On April 4, at approximately 6:00 pm, Rossburn RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a business on Main Street in Rossburn. Police say three masked suspects entered the business armed with what appeared to be a firearm and knives. The three fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Assisted by Dakota Ojibway Police Service, Rossburn RCMP located and arrested three male youths, 13, 13, and 15, just east of town shortly after the incident. All three youths are residents of Waywayseecappo First Nation.

A pellet gun and two knives were recovered as well as the stolen property. The 15-year-old youth is charged with Armed Robbery, Point Firearm (X2), Robbery with Disguise, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Carry Concealed Weapon. The two 13-year-olds are charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery with Disguise, and Possess Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.

The three will appear in Brandon Provincial Court on April 7, 2015.
