The 4H Rally for approximately 12 clubs from across the Westman Region will convene in Boissevain this week Friday (tomorrow) for their end of season program, parade and awards ceremony.

Event organizer, Victoria Nowazek, says they're excited to come together for their 87th annual rally with about 75 members participating.

Equine starts at 8:30 am at the Boissevain Ag Grounds and runs all day.  Multi-purpose workshop starts at 8:45 am.  All participants break for lunch at 11:30 am

Friday's itinerary:

  • 12:15 pm noon parade
  • 12:45 MUSICAL RIDE
  • 1:00 AWARDS
  • 4H workshops and activities continue in the afternoon

"We've got a fair number of leaders who are coming to run some workshops throughout the day," explains Nowazek, "But we are always looking for volunteers with different trades, especially with the multi-purpose, if there's woodworking or sewing, foods, you name it it's always good to have somebody out with that kind of expertise to help educate our members on those topics."
