The Boissevain Festival of the Arts was back with in person sessions in 2022.

The pandemic had impacted how the festival operated but the program was back to normal in March of this year. About 150 registrations were received for people taking to the stage in vocal and piano sessions.

 

The Awards Concert was held Sunday afternoon of March 20th at the Whitewater Church in Boissevain. Here’s a list of award winners:

 

The Most Promising Vocal Performer scholarship: Spencer Harper

The scholarship for Most Promising Performer in Beginner Piano: Taryn Scheirlinck

This year the adjudicator selected TWO Most Promising Performer scholarships in Grades 1-2: Audrey Raes, Njive Museka

The Most Promising Performer in Intermediate Piano, Grades 3-6: Jude Groening

The Most Promising Performer in Senior Piano, Grades 7 & up: Bennett Radcliffe

The Boissevain Festival of the Arts Scholarships this year goes to: Evan Raes

The Rose Bowl & Scholarship: Graeme Lovett

The Tudor Bowl & Scholarship: Caleb Raes

The Piano & Vocal adjudicators in the Boissevain Festival have recommended the following talented students to the Provincial Finals in Brandon this year.

PIANO:
