The volunteers and staff at Boissevain's Snazzy Seconds are enjoying their new home in the lower level of the Community Centre, and they've been able to spread out and display all the many donations that have come through their doors over the past months!

And the store looks fabulous!

Long-time volunteer, Wanda Cameron, says getting everything ready to move from the little shop on the corner of South Railway and Highway 10 to just down the street to the community center was pretty hectic.  However, community came together, and it was done lickety-split!

"We had lots of fun packing up all our stuff into boxes and then we had wonderful helpers from the high school," shares Cameron. "The high school government came one day, and Dave Hicks brought his trailer, and the kids came and loaded all of it up and brought it here and put it where we designated it.

"It was amazing!  They covered a lot of ground in that morning!"

Snazzy Seconds opened the doors of their new location to the public on October 23rd, then closed for Remembrance Day.  However, right around the corner is Christmas, and calling the Boissevain School worked so well the first time, they called them again!

"So, I contacted Holly Lang at the school, and she said the student government would come and help again," says Cameron, "and there were 8 high school girls who came and unpacked, and priced, and placed the items around the store!  They were amazing, amazing help!"

Please listen to Wanda Cameron as she shares more on the new store space for Snazzy Seconds - and do stop in!
