An addition to Boissevain's Streetfest this past weekend was the local art exhibit at Casey Guenther Designs.

Guenther says this was the 8th local art show and he was pleased with the response from local artists.

"It's been a few years since we've had the 'Get Local' Show so it's nice to see local artists showing their work," shares Guenther.

The Boissevain-Morton Arts Council strives to offer programs in a variety of mediums, and to a variety of art enthusiasts in the different age groups.

"It's been a good, steady interest," he explains, "especially with the kids' programming.  I think a lot of the adults, we've been creating at home and finding things to do through the pandemic.  So, it's just great being out and being able to show that work again."

The 'Get Local' art exhibition will be available to the public for approximately a month at Casey Guenther Design.  "But people can always contact me.  If its closed I'm always happy to open it up and show folks the exhibit,"  he adds.
