There are two days left in the 123rd MCA Bonspiel. 384 teams played their opening game back on Thursday in Winnipeg including teams skipped by Kelly Marnoch, Evan Reynolds and Geoff Trimble of Carberry, Kyle Armour, Rob Fowler and Shawn Taylor of Brandon, Rob Ramage of Baldur, Mike Johnson of Glenboro, Brent Strachan of Hamiota, Jerry Chudley of Brookdale, Allan McPherson of Minnedosa and Curtis McCannell of Pilot Mound.

Event finals will take place at the Grain Exchange, Elmwood and Charleswood curling clubs on Monday and there are six berths available into the 2011 Safeway Championship next month in Beausejour through the bonspiel. Two spots will be awarded from the Asham, two  from the Safeway-Lucerne and two from the Winnipeg Free Press events. Each team is guaranteed six games and all games are eight ends.
