Brandon's new mayor hopes municipal leaders want to keep coming to Western Manitoba.

 

At issue is whether or not Brandon can host the Association of Manitoba Municipalty's annual convention.

 

It has been rotating between Winnipeg and Brandon but some feel Brandon doesn't have enough rooms and the convention should stay in Winnipeg.

 

Mayor Shari Decter-Hirst says Brandon's compliment of rooms has improved.

 


The issue will be debated today at the AMM convention delegates will vote later this afternoon.
