Break and Enter

Shortly after 8:00 am on December 1st police were notified that a male had broken into a business on Victoria Ave East and was wandering around.  This male left and was seen to enter a sunroom at a residence on the 300 block of 11th St.  As a result, a 31-year-old male was arrested for Break and Enter with Intent and released with an Undertaking to appear in court on February 12, 2024.

Vehicle Fire 

Just prior to 5:00am on December 2nd, police and fire responded to a pickup truck on fire in the parking lot of a business on 18th St South.  The fire was extinguished, and the vehicle towed.  The cause is still under investigation. 

Recovered Stolen Vehicle

Shortly after 10:00am on December 1st police were called to the 3500 block of Willowdale Cr for an abandoned vehicle.  It was learned the vehicle was reported stolen the previous night. 

Breach Probation

Just prior to 9:30 pm police were called to a residence on Cobalt Cr for an intoxicated male causing problems.  Upon police arrival a 17-year-old male was detained.  He was found to have a knife on him. It was learned that he is bound by a probation order with conditions to abstain from alcohol and not to possess any weapons.  He was arrested and lodged for court. 

Breach Release Order

Shortly after 2:30am a traffic stop was conducted on the 700 block of Princess Av.  The driver was bound by a release order with an 11:00pm-7:00am curfew and not to be in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.  As a result, a 21-year-old male was arrested and lodged for court. 

Warrants

 Shortly after 11:30 pm police were called to a residence on the 200 block of 8th St for a person who was refusing to leave.  A 38-year-old female was found to have two outstanding warrants for Failing to Appear in Court.  She was arrested and later released with an Appearance Notice.  She is to appear in court on February 13th, 2024. 

Other Arrests

Shortly after midnight a call was received about a disturbance at a residence on the 400 block of 12th St.  Upon arrival a 50-year-old male was found to be intoxicated and the cause of the problem.  He was lodged at BPS to prevent further issues.  

Shortly after 1:30am police were called to the 600 block of 11th St for an intoxicated male causing problems.  A 23-year-old male was detained and lodged at BPS cells to ensure his safety and prevent further issues.
