Arrest Warrants

 On January 11th, 2024, a 30-year-old male turned himself into Brandon Police as he was aware he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints. He was arrested and released for court on February 8th, 2024.

On January 11th, 2024, at 9:42 pm police conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of 6th street. A passenger in the vehicle was found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to attend for court. The 30-year-old male was arrested and held for court on January 12th, 2024.

On January 11th, 2024, at 1:53 pm a 37-year-old male called police to inquire if he was wanted. There was in fact an outstanding warrant for his arrest, police attended to his location. He was arrested and held for court on January 12th, 2024.

On January 11th, 2024, Brandon Police extended an arrest warrant to Saskatchewan for a 26-year-old male for Robbery. He was arrested in Regina and transported back to Brandon. He will appear in court on January 12th,2024.

 

Threats

 On January 11th, 2024, at 07:15 am police were called to the 300 block of 8th street for a male that was attempting to enter a vehicle. When the vehicle owner confronted him, he threatened to harm him. A 33-year-old male found at the scene was intoxicated. He was arrested and held for court on January 12th, 2024.

 

Theft

 On January 11th, 2024, at 3:10 p.m. a business in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue reports a shoplifter stole approximately $100 worth of items. Police located the 39-year-old female at her residence. She was arrested for the theft and released for court on March 7th, 2024.

 

Impaired Driving Accident

 On January 11th, 2024, at 11:52 pm Police came upon an accident in the 900 block of Richmond Avenue. The driver of the vehicle had struck a parked car. The driver, a 21-year-old male was arrested for impaired driving. He provided samples of his breath that were almost three times the legal limit. He was released once sober and set for court on January 18th, 2024.

 

Breach of Peace

 On January 12th ,2024, at 03:17 a.m. Police received a call from a business in the 700 block of Princess Avenue that a male was causing problems. Police attended and located a 36-year-old male who was intoxicated. He was arrested and will be released once sober.
