Breach of Peace
On January 24th, 2024, at 01:00 am police received a call of a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of 2nd street. A 19-year-old female was arrested. She was intoxicated and will be released in the morning.
On January 24th, 2024, at 10:30 pm police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 900 block of 26th street. A 35-year-old male was arrested. He was intoxicated and will be released in the morning.
On January 24th, 2024, at 5:02 pm police were called to a group of teenagers fighting in the parking lot of a business in the 1500 block of 18th street. Police arrested an 18-year-old female who was intoxicated and found to be the cause of the fight. She will be released in the morning.
Assault on Police Officer
On January 24th, 2024, at 08:06 a.m. a Brandon Police officer opened the door of one of the cells to speak with a 22-year-old female who was in custody. The accused immediately threw dirty toilet water in the officer’s face. The officer attended to Brandon Regional health Center for exposure to bodily fluids protocol. The accused was held in custody to appear on January 25th, 2024.
On January 24th, 2024, at 10:45 pm police received a report of a vehicle driving erratically in the 1300 block of Princess Avenue. The vehicle was located, and the 25-year-old male driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and provided samples of his breath that were over the legal limit. He will appear in court on February 5th, 2024.
