Stolen Vehicle Recovered

On January 2, 2024, shortly after 3:00pm, police located a suspicious white GMC Sierra in the 3600 block of Rosser Avenue. Further investigation revealed that the license plates displayed on the vehicle did not match the vehicle descriptors. It was confirmed to be stolen.

Fail to Comply Release Order

On January 2, 2024, at approximately 10:40 pm, police located a 39-year-old male walking in the 1500 block of Stickney Avenue that was known to be bound by a 9 pm – 6 am curfew. When police attempted to place him under arrest, the male fled on foot but was apprehended a short distance away. He was lodged to appear in court today on charges of Fail to comply with a Release Order and Resist Arrest.

Fail to Comply Undertaking

On January 3, 2024, shortly before 5:00 am, police observed a male and female known to have a no contact order in place walking in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue. The 43 year-old male was arrested. He was later released to appear in court on March 11, 2024, on a charge of Fail to comply with an Undertaking.

Breach of Peace 

On January 2, 2024, shortly before 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1000 block of 10th Street. Upon arrival, a 30-year-old male was located highly agitated and uncooperative. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent any further issues.  

On January 2, 2024, at approximately 10:30 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of McDiarmid Drive. A 34-year-old male was intoxicated and causing problems. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober.

On January 3, 2024, police responded to the 300 block of Percy Street for a report of a break and enter. Upon arrival, the homeowner indicated she knew the 44-year-old male and just wanted him removed. Due to his level of intoxication he was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober.

On January 3, 2024, at approximately 12:30 am, an intoxicated 29-year-old female attended Brandon Police Service requesting to speak to police. Due to her concerning behaviour and level of intoxication for her safety she was lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released once sober.

Arrest Warrants

On January 2, 2024, a 46-year-old male was located and arrested on an outstanding charge of Fail to Attend Court. He was lodged at the Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.

On January 2, 2024, a 26-year-old female was located and arrested on outstanding charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today.
