Fail to Comply with Probation/Break and Enter

At 11:05 am, an off-duty BPS member spotted a suspect in a business in the 1500 block of 18th St who was known to have a warrant for his arrest. The officer arrested the 46-year-old male and members attended to take him into custody. The suspect was initially arrested for his warrant for breach of probation, break and enter, mischief, and possess break in instruments.

Upon being arrested the suspect was found to be in possession of two pairs of cutting pliers, breaching his conditions not to possess break in instruments. He was also in possession of forged identity. The suspect was lodged at BPS to appear in court.

Assault

As a result of an ongoing investigation, a 14-year-old male was arrested for an incident that was reported on March 5th. The female youth had disclosed being assaulted at a residence in the 700 block of Franklin Ave. The suspect was arrested and later released on an Undertaking to appear in court at a later date.

Impaired Driving

At 12:33 am, a vehicle was stopped on Highway #1 between 1st St and 18th St and the driver failed the roadside screening test. The 49-year-old male then refused to provide further breath samples. He was charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired and refusing to provide breath samples. He was held in custody until sober and then released to appear in court at a later date.
