December 30th Media Release

Media Release for December 30th.

 A 32-year-old Female from Brandon has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Theft under $5000.  Police had received a report that a cat had been stolen from a residence on 11th Street.  An investigation revealed a suspect and when Police attended to the suspect’s residence the cat was located inside.  Also located inside were numerous items stolen prior from a retail store.  The Accused has been released from custody to attend court on February 12th.

 On December 12th Police received a report of a stolen package that had been delivered to a residence on Lorne Avenue.  The theft was captured on video.  Review of the footage identified a 33-year-old Brandon Female who Police were familiar with as responsible for the crime.  On December 29th she was arrested for the crime and will appear in court February 26th.

 On December 29th Police received a report that a customer at a business in the 1000 block of 18th Street had just stolen an employee’s phone.  The staff at the business knew the customer and were able to provide the information to Police who located the suspect a short time later.  A 39-year-old female has been charged with Theft Under $5000 and released to attend court March 11th.
