Sofia Rusiaieva was born at 3:01 am on January 1st at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.

She weighed 10 lbs 2 oz and is 22 inches long. Proud first-time parents are Nataliia and Oleksandr Rusiaieva from Binscarth. Nataliia said her due date was December 30th.

The couple has already had virtual visits with their families back in Ukraine to show off their new baby.

Baby Sofia and her parents were presented with a gift basket donated by the Brandon Regional Health Centre Auxiliary Gift Shop and a lovely bouquet of flowers from Brandon Florist.
