Community Futures Westman will be hosting a Children’s Business Fair in late August.

Observe the opportunity for children under 15 to launch their very own startup business! Kids develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our one-day marketplace.

Community Futures will host 15 booths at the 1st annual fair on August 20th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

“This is an opportunity for youth doing business at home to promote their business” said Wendy Petersen with Community Futures Westman.

“It’s a lot like any other fair with the kids setting up a booth so you can see what they do with tables set up at their booth. Participation is free and there’s no charge to it.”

This event is sponsored by Acton Academy, the Acton School of Business, and the support of our donors and volunteers.  They all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation.

“We’ve sent information out to all communities in our region and we have a large region so we hope there’s lot of interest in this fair.”
