The Manitoba "AAA" Midget Hockey League's West Division leading Southwest Cougars will play three games in three days beginning tonight in Souris when they meet the Norman Northstars. The Cougars will also face the Interlake Lighting in Stonewall on Saturday and the East Division leading Winnipeg Wild on Sunday at MTS IcePlex. Southwest handed the Wild their first regulation loss of the season last Sunday. The Cougars are 15-5-0-1 and lead the second place Brandon Wheat Kings by three points.

Brian Archibald has been selected the Manitoba "AAA" Midget Hockey League's Goaltender of the Month for November while Cameron Rowat is the Offensive Player of the Month.

Archibald won five of six games last month. The Killarney native posted a 1.57 goals against average, a 94.7 save percentage and recorded one shutout.

Rowat recorded seven goals and 17 assists in 11 games in the month of November. The Souris native leads the league in scoring with 40 points in 22 games.
