MLA Drew Caldwell is pleased the Selinger government continues to make education a priority.

The province has increased education funding by 2.7 percent for the coming budget year.

Caldwell,who represents Brandon East, says that figure will vary depending on factors like enrollment.

 

 

The province has made the Tax Incentive Grant available to divisions for the fourth year in a row.

The grant rewards divisions who hold the line on local taxes when setting their budget.
