A bible camp between Deloraine and Boissevain has been looking for a life guard to work this summer.

Turtle Mountain Bible Camp (TMBC) has started it’s 2022 camp sessions and July and August will be the busiest months.

Co-director Kathy Weir says it’s shaping up to be a busy summer.

“Registrations are coming in and right now our greatest need is finding a life guard. So if there’s any life guards out there in need of work and a place to serve this summer we are very desperate to find someone. We’d hate to have to stand here and look at the water. We love to do our boating, kayaking and water activities and they all depend on having a life guard.”

“It’s all dependent on having a life guard so we really hope someone steps forward as soon as possible.”

The camp has some school groups coming to use the facility in June but Weir says for sure they’d like someone in place for July and August.

“They’d be committing to about seven weeks and their responsibility would be when the water front opens and when the water activities would be happening.”

Anyone interested in helping out should get in touch with TMBC.
