Small businesses in Manitoba are grateful for the elimination of the small business tax rate by the provincial government.

 

The change was effective Dec 1st..
Nathan Peto, General Manager of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce says businesses will put the cost savings to good use.

Peto adds the amount a business saves will depend on it's size.
He notes the elimination will allow small businesses to be more competitive, hire more employees and be that much stronger.
