Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon wishes to advise of the following hours of operation for Remembrance Day, November 11, 2023: 

Brandon City Hall (410-9th Street), A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue), Civic Services Complex (382 Park Avenue East), and Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Avenue) are all closed on Monday, November 13, 2023 in observance of Remembrance Day.  

Brandon Transit will be operating from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Remembrance Day.  The Transit Information Centre will be closed on Monday, but regular routes will be running as normal. 

Brandon’s Community Sportsplex will be closed. 

  Brandon’s Youth Centre will be closed.  

The Eastview Landfill will be open Remembrance Day from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. and closed Monday, November 13.  

 Brandon Municipal Cemetery is open to the public seven days a week from dawn to dusk. The Cemetery Office is closed Monday, November 13. 

All after-hours Public Works emergencies should be directed to the City of Brandon Public Works After-Hours Line at 204-729-2285.  

Regular hours of operation return Tuesday, November 14, 2023. 

The City of Brandon honours every veteran and service member who has served our country. City of Brandon flags will be lowered to half-mast in honour of Remembrance Day. “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.” (For the Fallen by Robert Laurence Binyon)
