Can police issue fines for motorists who don't properly clean their windshields before hitting the road?
With all the snow we've received this winter many cars on the road are covered in snow, we decided to take this question to R-C-M-P Staff Sergeant Davy Lee.
Lee had a very quick response.

He says the fine could range from 150 to 200 dollars.
Staff Sergeant Lee says common sense goes a long way and it's a matter of having a clear line of sight and making sure you can see oncoming traffic when you enter an intersection.
Lee says too many serious collisions happen when motorists don't see oncoming traffic and he notes it's better to receive a two hundred dollar fine than live with a guilty conscience of having caused an accident.
