Water was the topic of the day yesterday at the Manitoba Conservation District's annual meeting in Brandon.

 

Author and activist Maude Barlow spoke on the importance of water and taking steps to preserve and protect our supplies here in Manitoba.

 

 

Representatives from 18 districts are in Brandon. Richard Sexton of Deloraine chairs the Turtle Mountain Conservation District.

 


 

This year's meeting features update reports from districts across Manitoba. They deal with everything from the role of the districts to educating the next generation.
