Curlers at the Boissevain Curling Club should notice a marked improvement in ice conditions.

The club is preparing to host the Junior Men's Berth Bonspiel and the ice was heavy and not running very straight.

The club called in ice consultant Hans Wuthrich from Gimli on Tuesday.

Greg Cameron is on the Curling Club executive and said the time spent with Wuthrich paid off.

Club members plan to work on the sheets to have them ready for the Berth Bonspiel on Friday.
