Dauphin RCMP seeking information in rash of thefts - News Release April 14, 2023

Over a span of 5 days, between the 7th and 11th of April, Dauphin RCMP received 14 complaints of Break and Enters and thefts involving vehicles, ATV’s, a lawn tractor, bicycles and power tools which were stolen from various locations throughout the detachment area.

The items stolen include a 2003 GMC pickup truck from a property in the RM of Dauphin (later recovered in Crane River), a 2010 Dodge Challenger from a shop in Dauphin, an ATV from a property in Dauphin (later recovered after it had been involved in a collision with a vehicle and light standard in Dauphin), and a 2019 Polaris Slingshot motorcycle from a property in Dauphin (later recovered in Ebb and Flow First Nation).

RCMP have arrested and charged 24-year-old man, of Crane River, with Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property (in relation to the stolen pickup truck), as well as Failing to Comply with a Release Order. He also had three outstanding Warrants of Arrest. He was remanded into custody.
