Emily loved to bake matrimonial date squares and often brought it to family gatherings and to share at Bible studies. Emily faithfully supported 2 little girls in Burundi through VOH Africa. She recalled a time when she realized her balance had become an issue, and the words ‘my grace is sufficient for you’ were given to her by the Lord. At that time Emily said indescribable peace came over her. Life has been very difficult for her as she dealt with the effects of Huntington’s disease. Today we rejoice and give thanks that the Lord has opened His arms and called her home to join Him. For the past two years, the staff at Meadowood Manor have been absolutely amazing as they have lovingly cared for her.
