Members of the Boissevain-Morton Fire department have had a busy winter.

Fire Chief martin Paradis says their latest call was Thursday night around 11:15 on Eagan street in Boissevain. A spec-home was destroyed after wiring for a construction heater overheated.

No injuries were reported from Thursday's fire and an estimate of damage wasn't available.

Paradis says when it comes to contruction and space heaters there are some guidelines to follow.

Paradis says it has been one of those winters where fire fighters get several calls. He hopes the rest of the winter isn't as busy for his crew.
