Boundary Co-op is looking for groups to apply for a chance to cash in on their annual Fuel Good Day promotion.

Every year Boundary donates a portion of each litre of fuel sold and money from other in store specials to the selected groups in each community.

Marketing manager Cheryl Rushing says time is running out for community groups to apply. “Wednesday, May 17th at the end of the working day is the deadline to apply. People who need more information are encouraged to go to our website.”

“Boundary Co-op will be donating 10¢ per litre for every litre of fuel sold to a local charity. We will also donate $1 from every cup of Cooperative Coffee or Big Cool Slush. This event is an opportunity for your community group, organization or project to receive a tremendous funding boost through community support.”

Fuel Good Day will take place on September 19th.

“Most years we have good interest but the past few years we’ve had a decline in the number of applicants, and I don’t know if the pandemic was the reason or if groups think they aren’t eligible. I encourage groups to apply,” said Cheryl Rushing.
