The 5th annual Grey Owl restaurant opened last week at Assiniboine Community College's North Hill campus.

Students from the Culinary Arts and Hotel and Management program are put through their paces.

The student run restaurant features a full menu of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees and desserts.

The Grey Owl is open 5 nights a week and usually seats about 65 guests.

Instructor Kyle Zalluski says the restaurant gives the students on the job training and a feel for what it is like waiting on guests, preparing and serving the food.

The Grey Owl Restaurant will be open until February 17th. Reservations are no longer available. The popularity of the restaurant sees the seating gone in the first couple of hours that reservations are opened up.
