There is no community in Western Manitoba that kicks up its heals as much as Killarney when it comes to St. Patrick's Day celebrations!

The 2024 St. Paddy's Day festivities will take place Saturday, March 16th, and the Shamrock Centre is calling for volunteers!

"We've got some new and exciting things coming up," shares General Manager Liana Smith, "as well we're going to finish off the evening with the Dueling Keys, they're coming back again. So, it's going to be an exciting time for us!"

Between the green ice cream, shamrocks and rainbows, green top hats and crafts for kids it will be another celebration for the Manitoba town that was named after that beautiful community in Ireland that resembles the Manitoba town in many ways!

"There will be lots of the stuff for the kids this year and for the adults, and it's free to the community" adds Smith.  "The Irish dancers will be back this year along with a few new surprises!"
