Canadian singer/songwriter, Brett Kissel, is taking to the stage come July 2024, and the Killarney Community Events Committee is thrilled with Brett and the rest of the live entertainment coming to Killarney for the first weekend in July.

Committee President, Ryan Heinrichs, says as July 1st lands on a Monday next year, the big concert of the year in Killarney will take place on Saturday, July 6th.  "Going ahead this event will be the first full weekend in July every year."

"Great bands are coming out again next year, with Brett Kissel coming out so grab your tickets," says Heinrichs, "and then Justin LaBrash is coming back as our opening act, and then Sentinel, Hick Town, Tangle Box and Mike Sacharco Band."

"We're going to start from noon and there will be bands throughout the day, and a whole bunch of different food trucks will be there so come and have a great day!" he adds.

"I've got to say thanks to our sponsors, and all the people who have helped and made donations to this cause.  It's just fantastic and has enabled us to provide high-end bands like what we are," adds Heinrichs, "and it's also created an effect with some of the bands that they want to come to Killarney and play, which is cool!  That's awesome and we do draw a huge, huge crowd!"

Heinrichs notes last year's numbers were close to that 3000 mark with the year before being just under that.  "With this coming year with Brett Kissel we anticipate an even larger crowd."
