Winkler Flyers captain Troy Kliever has been named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Defenceman of the Month for October. The 20-year old Deloraine native leads all blueliners with 20 points. The Flyers are 11-6-1-1 and trail the Addison Division leading Selkirk Steelers by three points.

 

Matt Friesen, the Voice of the Winkler Flyers, asked Troy Kliever to comment on the team's 5-4 victory over the Winnipeg Blues on Tuesday night in Winkler and his selection as MJHL Defenceman of the Month for October.
