The Bison Enclosure and Lake Audy areas of Riding Mountain National Park are now open following repairs and improvements to Lake Audy Road. Visitors can access the area using Lake Audy Road off Highway #10 or Provincial Road #354. Areas reopened:

  • Bison Enclosure
  • Lake Audy Campground
  • Lake Audy Day-use Sites
  • Lake Audy Horse Corral

Lake Audy is open to all human-propelled watercraft that have undergone an aquatic invasive species (AIS) inspection at the Boat Cove in Wasagaming. Parks Canada AIS inspectors will be stationed at Lake Audy on weekends starting in July. Observing wildlife in their natural habitat is a privilege that comes with a responsibility to treat wildlife with respect Give wildlife space. Stay in your vehicle when viewing wildlife along roadsides.

Safety is a shared responsibility. Anyone traveling into the area should plan for minimal to no cell phone service. To ensure the best possible experience, visitors are encouraged to plan their trip ahead of time by speaking to Parks Canada staff at the Visitor Centre in Wasagaming, or through the Riding Mountain National Park website: https://parks.canada.ca/pn-np/mb/riding
