It was a long day at Sunflower Gardens for Kerri Einarson and if she has her way it will be just as long on Sunday. Einarson, along with third Janice Blair, second Susan Baleja and lead Alison Harvey qualified for the 2-2 page playoff game at the 2011 Provincial Scotties Tournament of Hearts thanks to two wins in the tie-breaker.

Einarson missed out on her chance to finish first in the Black Group when she dropped an 8-7 decision to Cathy Overton-Clapham in the final round robin game. That win gave Overton-Clapham top spot and would have eliminated Einarson from playoff contention except that Joelle Brown scored three points in the 10th end and beat Janet Harvey 7-6 creating a three-way tie for second place in the Black group as Harvey, Brown and Einarson all finished with 5 and 2 records. Einarson then outscored Harvey 7-6 and beat Brown 6-3 to advance to Sunday's 2-2 page playoff game against Karen Rosser.

CJRB Sports Director Clayton Dreger asked Kerri Einarson to talk about her teams long day at the rink.

Overton-Clapham will meet Chelsea Carey in the 1-1 page playoff game. The winner will advance to the final while the loser will get one more chance in the semifinal against the winner of the 2-2 game between Einarson and Rosser. Kerri Einarson is hoping for another long day.
