Manitoba’s premier farm show will be back in business in Brandon January 17-19.

The Manitoba Ag Days show is an exposition of agricultural production expertise, technology, and equipment that attracts exhibitors and visitors from across Canada and the United States of America.

GM Kristen Phillips says the organizers are thrilled to have the show back up and running. “We were one of the fortunate shows that was able to go in 2020 so that was our last event. 36 months between shows is a long time.”

“This year’s show is shaping up to be our best with 535 exhibitors and over 70 speakers in the two theatres and it’s the most impressive lineup we’ve ever had. 32 new innovations so everything is stacking up for a great show.”

Phillips points out the host committee was nervous when putting the 2023 show together because they weren't sure what to expect post covid but the enthusiasm from exhibitors has been overwhelming and they’re carrying over 80 people on the waiting list.

“So, the need and want to have a show is definitely there.”

One change with the return of Manitoba AgDays is an admission fee for people attending the show.

“There’s a $15 early bird admission or $20 at the door. The tickets are good for any day of the show. You don’t have to say I’m going on Tuesday because they’re good for all three days. The move to charging an admission fee was coming before covid but covid kind of pushed us to that point. Just all the requirements of security and checking made it so we needed to charge that admission fee” said Kristen Phillips.

The 2023 Manitoba AgDays will be the 46th show and organizers say the future looks as bright as ever.
