It was another successful sale in Brandon on the weekend.

The 26th annual MCC relief sale raised about 98,000-dollars. Officials says that's down about 10,000-from last year.

Arnold Hildebrand chairs the sale committee. He's pleased with the continued support for the sale.

Paul Friesen with MCC Manitoba says the Brandon sale is a steady source of funding for the organization.

A cycling event held this summer raised another 21,000-dollars to be added onto the total.

Sale proceeds are going to help MCC with health services work in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
