The 4th annual Metisfest was held July 27th to the 29th. This was the first year the event was held in Killarney at the Shamrock Centre.
The cultural event showcases Metis food, song and dance and included lots of main stage entertainment, a trade show and numerous displays.
Chair Daniel Goodon says “If the town likes what happened on July 27-29, he'd be more than pleased to be back in the Shamrock center in 2013”.
Mayor Rick Pauls was impressed with the show and said “The town was happy to land such a big event. The more shows that come to the Shamrock Centre the better”.
